First metal closure for preserving jars.

PRESENTATION OF OUR CLOSURE

Presentation of the vacuum metal closure for glass food packaging at the Leipzig Spring Fair.

PANO III

Pano III — a special closure for preserving fruit and vegetables in industrial jars left over from the war.

ITZEHOE

New factory built in Itzehoe by Paul Nofer's son-in-law, engineer Heinrich Eberhardt, start of industrial mass production.

TYPE UNI

Type Uni — first aluminum screw cap with fully automatic PVC seal and Panomat — first automatic jar capping machine, universal applicability of the cap thanks to individual adjustment of the PVC compounds to each filling product.

EXPANSIONS

Expansion to include a new production hall and ten fully automated production lines.

MANAGEMENT: WULF EBERHARDT

Wulf Eberhardt takes over the management of the company, concentrating on specific ranges of closures, European orientation and technical development.

NEW FACTORY BUILDING IN BRUNSBÜTTEL

 New factory building in Brunsbüttel for the production of glass sealing machines and moulds according to customer-specific requirements.

CAM LATCH

Start of production of tinplate cam latches.

Development of the world's first cam screw cap with a PVC-free seal in collaboration with ActegaDS and Feinkost Dittmann

New building in the Itzehoer Innovation Park, now serving as the headquarters featuring state-of-the-art production facilities. Implementation of a sustainable production concept aimed at high energy efficiency and CO₂ savings.

Sustainability starts with PANO®.
Our glass closures are produced sustainably in Germany. Our trademark is the blue ring - we have been using this PVC-free sealing ring for 100% of our twist-off closures since 2019.
Where there is a blue ring, there is sustainability. The blue seal shows consumers that there are no plasticizers inside.

CLIMATE PROTECTION IS OUR TOP PRIORITY.

Together with initiatives such as B.A.U.M. and the SBTi, we have been working for years to become ever more sustainable. To this end, 88% of the investments made since 2010, amounting to over 30 million euros, have gone directly into sustainability projects.
